I always have a guilty feeling after throwing wilting bouquets in the bin – it’s the same feeling as accidentally stepping on a snail on a rainy afternoon. So I decided to build up a flower crown from the bouquets that would never have seen another day of sunlight ever again.

Over the past few months (and the next few months) I will be adding flowers to the crown by tying them with string. The base of the crown is wire, thick enough to hold its shape, but soft enough to bend. The flowers have been drying naturally over time. I will share the end results once I have completed it ?
