The Making of Florescence
The Florescence Hair Accessory is one of my favourite pieces that I’ve made for Ingrini’s Bridal and Special Occasion Collection (available in October).
It remind me that good things take time and why Rome wasn’t built in a day.
This piece took two full uninterrupted days to complete including working late on day 01 – making the wire floral parts.
Ingrini’s Florescence headpiece was inspired by the dress Blake Lively wore to the 2022 Met Gala, designed by Atelier Versace.
The colour pallet, texture and pattern is craftsmanship at its finest, making it a dress that will never be forgotten. A work of art.
Her dress transformed 😍 The bow elegantly unwrapped from rose gold to aqua blue. I mean, wow.
She said: ‘Instead of looking to fashion to influence the dress, I looked to New York City architecture and classic buildings.’
The train of her dress:
Conceptualised the constellation that covers the entire Grand central station ceiling.
Inspired by the Empire State Building.
The draping and crown:
The Statue of Liberty.
I am so proud of this hair accessory and will be making another inspiration piece of this kind soon.
Below is a making-of video for Ingrini’s Florescence hair accessory. The video isn’t the best, but it’s not the worst neither.
In terms of all round aesthetics (i.e. your girl not being able to keep her nails on fleek, bad camera angles and colour tint of my lamp not being set properly), I apologise 😊.
I’ll deliver beautiful footage next time.
