My life journey began
in my birth town, Bloemfontein (directly translated, flower fountain), South Africa.
Here I spent most of my childhood adventures on a smallholding just outside of town, growing up with dogs, a cat named 84, cheeky guinea fowl and a pet sheep.
We relocated to Cape Town when I was 8 years old and the beautiful city became my home.
I studied Photography, Desktop Publishing and was privileged to complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Brand/Visual Communications at the well-acclaimed AAA School of Advertising, specialising in Art Direction.
My first corporate experience
was whilst working for a company that develops Educational Software as a Conceptual Artist and Marketing Assistant.
In need of a new challenge I ventured to Thailand
Even though challenging at times I was blessed to make friends who I still keep in touch with today, and leave with the rewarding experience of working with dazzling students.
After returning from Thailand, I started working in the printing and branding industry, gaining more experience in design, print, office management and all-round business skills.
In March 2015 I resigned to further my career as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Entrepreneur of a business called Golden Tech (Coping with Technology in your Golden Years), where I assisted not only the elderly but all who felt a bit technologically challenged.
